Principal Leadership Development Programme (PLDP)

The Principal Leadership Development Programme focuses on working with Heads of Schools in developing leadership and collaboration, instilling personal responsibility and a shared vision for school transformation through shared and peer group learning. Each of these Fellows will be attached with one facilitator who may be full time/part time. Each facilitator will be handling 10 groups of 10 Heads of School each, thereby ensuring holistic coverage of all schools of DoE. These Fellows will also be associated at a cluster and school level with one or more facilitators. They will participate in all the activities of the Facilitator and Participants including attending and documenting all the facilitative capacity building and group meetings. As a constant and consistent team member, they will share materials and resources with the principals and mentor teachers, visit schools to observe teachers in their cluster schools, and support assessment activities required for the program.
